Shower drain Wiper 500 mm Wall Upstand Sirocco is a special stainless steel shower floor drain. Water channel is surrounded by steel flange with one side bended vertically. Upstand flange helps with installation directly against the wall. It helps with proper waterproofing and maintaining right distance between tile surface and drain grate. It comes in different lengths which starts at 500 mm and goes all the way till 1200 mm every 100 mm. Although custom size is possible. It is made of 304 stainless steel which offers good corrosion resistance to both chemical and atmospheric exposures, with a high resistance to oxidation. Flange surrounding the channel is 30 mm wide which in combination with sealing membrane (included) ensures good watertightness.
Wall Upstand drain channel is 84 mm wide and it comes with included Sirocco stainless steel grate. Sirocco pattern which is considered to be the most practical pattern, features 3 rows of square shaped holes running parallelly to cover edge, which is 64 mm wide and 494 mm long and total drain length with insulation flange is 560 mm. Sealing membrane is a blue non-woven fabric which bonds well in the glue and is resistant to cracking.
We also include 65 mm high McAlpine siphon trap with 95° Multifit connector. It features capacity of 26 l /min, 20 mm high water seal and Easy Access cleaning from above after lifting up the drain grating.

Drain Length

Drain is available in 8 standard lengths. Although they have same technical performance, length of the drain should be matched room requirements. For an instance 700 mm Drain length is recommended for 1000 mm wide shower.

There are 6 drain cover patterns available. The flow rate is the same for all of them. They are interchangeable and can be swapped even after installation. Each drain sent out is equipped with a lifting hook which makes cleaning easy.

Waterproofing kit

Waterproofing kit is used to seal shower tray as well as connections between walls and floor. It is recommended for concrete and mandatory for timber flooring. Main drainage part, stainless steel channel drain, 30 mm high, 84 mm wide. Upstand on the back allows this drain to be installed right against the wall. Best option if you do not want to have any space between the wall and the drain. Surrounded by steel flange on other three sides, 30 mm wide, important for insulation. Overall height required for installation with default trap is 98 mm.

Brushed stainless steel drain grating, perforated with 3 rows of squares pattern. To clean the drain, you can lift it up. It is equipped with lifting hook which makes it easier. All covers available share technical properties, but are the only visible part of the drain visible after installation is over so it should be chosen by appearance.

As a standard to every order we include a compression fitting McAlpine waste trap with 26 l/min throughput, 20 mm water seal and 1.5 inch pipe diameter. Requires only 65 mm of space underneath the drain. Fully rotatable and adjustable.

If our default waste trap does not fulfil your requirements, we have various other waste traps available which are compatible with our products. We can supply them at the same cost and speed as the default trap. Drop 50 is an interesting choice, with a 48 l/min flow rate and 50 mm deep water seal, making it compliant with building regulations, whilst being only 10 mm higher than a standard trap. Should be used to seal the joints between the floor and walls and to waterproof the drainage. Can be used for your entire bathroom insulation. Suitable for wet areas such as bathrooms, showers in residential buildings, hotels, old people's homes and hospitals. Should not be used in places exposed to pressurised water, for an instance swimming pools. Ready to use, no mixing required and easy to apply with a roller. When applied to a substrate and cured, it forms a flexible waterproofing coating. The product is intended for use inside places intended for human residence, especially in humid areas (such as bathrooms, kitchens, laundries), to perform insulation against moisture under linings and coverings, such as ceramic tiles, glazed tiles, terracotta, wooden floors and panels, and synthetic carpets.

The product is intended for priming absorbent and porous surfaces, inside and outside buildings. It is especially recommended for cement - limestone plaster, gas concrete, plaster-carton boards and cement plaster. The primer has a high penetration ability, is deeply absorbed into the substrate, thus strengthening it, while allowing for „breathing”. These benefits improve the structure of the substrates, which, due to the passage of time, have lost their appropriate parameters. The priming solution improves adhesion to the surface of other materials that will be used on the primed substrate. By reducing the absorbency of the substrate, the wear of the applied coating materials, emulsion paints, glues, mineral putties reduces as well. The solution, due to the content of the biocide and fungicide, protects the primed substrate against the formation of mold and bacteria in the product.

Its installation is recommended in all areas that require sealing. The mat is resistant to the cracking of the substrate, ensures the seal up of the entire surface, reduces installation time, allowing to lay the tiles immediately after gluing the mat.
