We include the longest linear shower channel to this walk in shower flooring - 1200 mm long stainless steel channel. It is integrated with the tray during the production process and comes with watertight seal. 64 mm wide stylish grate cover and comlpete siphon trap with capacity of 26 l/min and 20 mm high water seal arrive with the former. Ponente grating is a plain bar of brushed steel cover with no holes, only channels aside. It's the longest linear gully we include to our wet room kits so it can be considered most luxurious.
Largest square shower tray 1200 x 1200 mm can accomodate bigger shower areas and create comfortable and easily accesible shower. This size kit isn't for smallest bathrooms, but has the longest drain integrated providing modern look. The floor is then a single expanse, with only a drainage hole visible, giving a space-enhancing seamless look.

If you have timber floor - existing floor board thickness. Usually they are 20 or 28 mm thick, in that case you should go for adequate thick wet room kit, to avoid floor height increase and step ups. In case of concrete floor, every thickness is suitable, if you're going to screed the floor you need to shutter the future shower area off and leave proper space for tray to be inserted in the future. If screed has already been done, you will need to use jackhammer or similar tool to groove exact tray thickness and shape when the shower is going to be created. In case of both floor types, every shower tray thickness is enough to bear human weight, as it needs to be underboarded beneath entire surface either with ply or solid concrete. The biggest difference between thicknesses is the slope's angle achieved after installation is completed and shower tray tiled.
We supply McAlpine CD-HC26-65 PCV (polypropylen) waste trap with our drains. To clean them you can simply dismantle it from above when installed, and waterflow will remove any dirt. If not you can use chemicals.
The waste trap provides Water Seal that prevents any bad smells to get back to your shower.

I'm wanting to trim around 150mm off the end furthest away from the drain, what's the maximum that can be removed from this end?
This shower tray can be trimmed to a minimum size of 960 x 960 mm, however we highly recommend to take equal bits from each opposite ends so premachined slope towards the drain is presever.
If you wanted to take 150 mm only from further end of the tray you it would make your floor uneven, one end would be higher than the opposite one. It would be possible to take 75 mm from one end and 75 from the opposite one and that would effectively shorten the tray down by 150 mm.
Alternatively we can offer bespoke, custom shower tray. It would have perfect slopes and would be the size your need without having to trim it, however unlike other products on our website it would take longer to have it delivered (would need to be manufactured first) which can take 6-10 business days and would cost more.
