OneWay Fall Showerlay Wiper 800 x 800 mm Line Invisible is a walk-in tray with linear drain. The shower tray is characterised by a one-way single slope contoured towards drain channel. In case of type of floor and the size of slope we want there are two thickness available: 30mm and 40mm. OneWay Showerlay provides excellent adhesion to shower board and 100% hydroisolation. The OneWay shower tray is a response to the needs of our clients.  The set consists of a OneWay ShowerLay with integrated and waterproofing linear drain. Dimensions of drain channel: 500mm long and 80mm wide. This set comes also with siphon trap with flow rate 26 l/mm and waste pipe diameter: 1,5". Invisible is a specific drain type without vertical frame, making it suitable for range of finish materials, from vinyl to marble and stone. Grate is flushed with the frame, so there is no requirement for finish material height, although channel protrudes below the bottom shower tray surface for 10 mm. Special degreasing cloth is included to clean the steel surfaces before gluing the finished floor surface. Steel is finished with brush, which is practical and particularly suitable for most architectural applications. This tray is one of the smallest size of shower tray that we provide. It requires little space, making it suitable for most showers even in small bathrooms. OneWay Fall Showerlay Wiper 800x800 Line Invisible is a must-have for modern bathroom design.

Tray size

OneWay Fall Showerlay is single sloped wet room tray available in 14 standard sizes. The drain is located parallel to the shorter edge. A larger tray offers more space for greater comfort. Your tray size should be chosen to match room and enclosure size. Our trays can be trimmed down to size or to avoid obstacles.

There are 7 drain cover patterns available. The flow rate is the same for all of them. They are interchangeable and can be swapped even after installation. Each drain sent out is equipped with a lifting hook which makes cleaning easy.

Thickness

Thickness of the board on the edges. It has 2% gradient on the entire upper surface and is shallower near the drain. The benefit of thicker tray is steeper slope, although even the shallowest trays have sufficient slope for water to flow towards the drain, no matter where it drops.

Waterproofing kit

Waterproofing kit is used to seal shower tray as well as connections between walls and floor. It is recommended for concrete and mandatory for timber flooring. 4-way sloped wet room tray always comes with integrated stainless steel channel. It is waterproofed during the manufacturing process.
Board can be 20, 28 or 35 mm thick. Thicker tray is steeper but requires more space, while even 20 mm thick tray provides sufficient slope. In addition to that, thicker tray provides better accoustic and heating insulation.

Plain stainless steel cover is included to the drain. It must be covered entirely, with the same material as rest of the floor (marble, stone, tiles, vinyl). Cover is completely flushed with the flange. Drain is not visible at all after the installation, besides the channels for water to flow.

As a standard to every order we include a compression fitting McAlpine waste trap with 26 l/min throughput, 20 mm water seal and 1.5 inch pipe diameter. Requires only 65 mm of space underneath the tray. Fully rotatable and adjustable.

If our default waste trap does not fulfil your requirements, we have various other waste traps available which are compatible with our products. We can supply them at the same cost and speed as the default trap. Drop 50 is an interesting choice, with a 48 l/min flow rate and 50 mm deep water seal, making it compliant with building regulations, whilst being only 10 mm higher than a standard trap. When applied to a substrate and cured, it forms a flexible waterproofing coating. The product is intended for use inside places intended for human residence, especially in humid areas (such as bathrooms, kitchens, laundries), to perform insulation against moisture under linings and coverings, such as ceramic tiles, glazed tiles, terracotta, wooden floors and panels, and synthetic carpets.

The product is intended for priming absorbent and porous surfaces, inside and outside buildings. It is especially recommended for cement - limestone plaster, gas concrete, plaster-carton boards and cement plaster. The primer has a high penetration ability, is deeply absorbed into the substrate, thus strengthening it, while allowing for „breathing”. These benefits improve the structure of the substrates, which, due to the passage of time, have lost their appropriate parameters. The priming solution improves adhesion to the surface of other materials that will be used on the primed substrate. By reducing the absorbency of the substrate, the wear of the applied coating materials, emulsion paints, glues, mineral putties reduces as well. The solution, due to the content of the biocide and fungicide, protects the primed substrate against the formation of mold and bacteria in the product.

This installation guide shows how to install wet room kit shower tray Showerlay Wiper on a wooden floor and how to tile it over.

  1. Preparation of floor and walls. Gather required materials and tools.
  2. Establish shower area by lying the shower tray in desired future shower position.
  3. Floor boards removal to expose the joists and avoid increasing total floor height.
  4. Support the drain using ply with hole cut the match the channel shape.
  5. Connect the siphon trap pipe to your waste system.
  6. Prepare even surface with marine plywood board.
  7. Fit the wet room kit using fixing adhesive.
  8. Assembly the drain with siphon trap.
  9. Fill remaining shower area with tile backer boards.

  3. Grind the concrete to prepare a slot for shower tray.
  4. Cut a hole for siphon trap and pipework.
  5. Connect the siphon trap pipe to your waste system.
  6. Prepare even surface by cleaning and bedding the concrete.
  7. Fit the wet room kit using fixing adhesive.
  8. Assembly the drain with siphon trap.
  9. Fill remaining shower area with tile backer boards.

Wet Room Installation

Our OneWay wet room kits are available in two thicknesses: 30mm and 40mm. Depending on space, floor type, and desired gradient you can choose best option for you.

If you have timber floor - existing floor board thickness. Usually they are 30mm thick, in that case you should go for adequate thick wet room kit, to avoid floor height increase and step ups. If you want to achieve stepped up floor, 40 mm thickness might also be a good choice. In case of concrete floor, every thickness is suitable, if you're going to screed the floor you need to shutter the future shower area off and leave proper space for tray to be inserted in the future. If screed has already been done, you will need to use jackhammer or similar tool to groove exact tray thickness and shape when the shower is going to be created. In case of both floor types, every shower tray thickness is enough to bear human weight, as it needs to be underboarded beneath entire surface either with ply or solid concrete. The biggest difference between thicknesses is the slope's angle achieved after installation is completed and shower tray tiled.
