For the convenience of our clients, we have created tile backer board sets. The sets can cover up to 2 m², 4 m², 6 m² or 8 m² and include appropriate amount of washers and mounting screws. You can also choose boards thickness between 6 mm, 10 mm or 20 mm. Tile backer boards creates the perfect substrate to tile onto in wet rooms and bathrooms. Tilepal boards are made out of extruded polystyrene rigid foam and reinforced with glass fiber on both sides and coated with a elastic cement mortar.

Set size

Boards total coverage and their thickness. 6 mm is the minimum thickness needed for the floors, but thicker panels are also fine. 12 or 20 mm thick boards are better for the walls. The extra thickness is needed to span the studs and provide a solid base for the tile.

Cement boards are lightweight and strong at the same time. They also have excellent insulating properties, so they work perfectly with an electric underfloor heating. Boards are 1200 x 600 mm and can be cut easily. They create perfect surface for tile adhesives on floors and walls.
