Hi there, I was wondering if the Showerlay Wiper 800 x 1200 mm Line Pure had to be installed over a solid timber base or if it could span between joists unsupported. Thanks Rory

Dear Rory,

The tray can be laid directly on top of the joists, however you need to mount at least 18 mm thick marine ply boards in between them, so at the end of the day, the tray sits on the joists and the board.
